Young Gourmet Competition Rules!
the entries
Challenge: For all schools. Participants will be advised how to upload your video entries.
All Entries: Name, Gender, Age, School Year, Parent/Guardian address and contact details for individual student entries, Teacher/School address and contact details. Please DO NOT include any unnecessary images or fancy formatting.
Poetry: For students in Years 7 & 8. All Entries by email only to poem@younggourmet.com as a Microsoft Word file attachment or within the text of the email.
Short Story: For students in Years 9 & 10. All entries by email only to story@younggourmet.com as a Microsoft Word file attachment or within the text of the email.
Art: For all students. Send an electronic image of your work (*.jpeg, *.eps, *.pdf, *.psd) by email only to art@younggourmet.com or send a CD to Young Gourmet PO Box 137 Benalla VIC 3671.
Recipe: For all students. Entries by email only to recipe@younggourmet.com as a Microsoft Word file attachment or within the text of the email.
Food Blog: For anyone aged 16-18 years. Email your food blog url to blog@younggourmet.com.
the limit
As an individual, you can submit one entry in each eligible category. If the work is done as part of a class exercise, we can only accept 5 entries in total for each eligible category, from any one class.
the terms and conditions
This competition is open to Australian residents only. Overseas entries will not be considered. Ask your parent/guardian/school for permission BEFORE you enter this competition because your decision to submit an entry means you have given us the right to publish your work (in full or in part) on our website. Young Gourmet will only ever use your personal details for the purposes of administering this competition, and will not publish them or provide them to anyone without your permission. The Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winners will be contacted by email and telephone. Young Gourmet does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the Internet or Email service. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Entrants must supply full details as required above, and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prize(s). No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently. Young Gourmet reserves the right to cancel this competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control. Young Gourmet reserves the right to alter these rules in order to correct any errors or anomalies, at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering this competition.
